Dubai-based construction technology company Opteam has secured a pre-Seed funding round, led by Plus VC, with contributions from Dar Ventures, SIAC Ventures, and Oraseya Capital.

The investment will enhance Opteam’s AI capabilities, expand its workforce, and strengthen its presence in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Founded in 2020, Opteam offers AI-driven construction management software designed to help teams overcome industry challenges and maximize their potential.

Ahmed Hegazy, Co-founder and CEO, expressed excitement about the partnership with Plus VC, highlighting the strategic value of their investor group in the construction and startup sectors across the MENA region.

He emphasized their goal to become the leading platform for generative scheduling in construction, aiming to accelerate growth and innovation.

Tarek Hegazy, Co-Founder and CIO, pointed out that the Middle East faces significant time and cost overruns in construction projects, and Opteam is well-positioned to address these issues due to its deep understanding of industry processes and technology adoption challenges.
