Saudi Arabia has launched digital identity verification services to streamline financial transactions and enhance security within the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Interior has initiated this digital transformation through the Absher electronic platform, aiming to simplify processes and bolster fraud prevention.
By integrating financial institutions with the government platform, individuals can now verify their identities electronically, making financial transactions more convenient and secure.
This initiative, overseen by Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz and launched by Assistant Minister of Interior for Technology Affairs Prince Bandar bin Abdullah bin Mishari, was unveiled at the 24 Fintech conference in Riyadh.
