The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has established a collaborative agreement with the Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) aimed at promoting governmental cooperation to ensure a robust and secure digital environment. This memorandum of understanding (MoU) was formalized in conjunction with the Global Smart City Forum, an event promoting the theme ‘A Better Life’ hosted at the Riyadh Arena on February 12-13.
Signatories of the MoU, Nawaf Al-Sahan from the National Information Center’s Cloud Computing division, and Khalid Al-Thunayan, the Vice President for Digital Transformation at SRSA, underscored their commitment to enhancing governmental synergy. Their concerted efforts are directed towards adhering to stringent cybersecurity protocols, leveraging the government cloud platform ‘Deem Cloud’, and fortifying digital infrastructure to pave the way for a transformative digital landscape.
The partnership also encompasses a mutual exchange of knowledge and technical expertise in smart city technologies, as well as active participation by SRSA in SDAIA’s various AI and smart city-focused events and forums.
