Faisal Bafarat, had the honor of presenting the Riyadh Season Cup to the Belarusian tennis star, Aryna Sabalenka, following her victory over the Tunisian player, Ons Jabeur. The match, which ended with scores of 4:6, 6:3, 6:2, took place in the Kingdom Arena and marked a highlight of the Riyadh Season Women’s Tennis Cup on Tuesday.

The event was not just a competitive showcase but also a festive occasion that captivated the audience with its thrilling and spirited atmosphere.

Expressing her views on the event, Sabalenka lauded the Kingdom’s efforts in hosting major sports events, particularly tennis. She highlighted the quality of the match against Jabeur, describing it as a high-caliber encounter that she found immensely enjoyable.

Sabalenka, at the age of 25, boasts an impressive track record in the tennis world. She reached the pinnacle of the singles rankings in September and has since collected 13 singles titles, including triumphs at the prestigious Australian Open and the Madrid Open in 2023. Her skill extends to doubles as well, with 6 tournament victories, among them the Australian Open in 2021.
